Assorted color sidewalk chalk will be provided to each registrant
Rules: All art must be family friendly. Participants must use original designs. Spaces (6 foot square) will be marked and assigned upon registration. Individual spaces may have cracks and color texture variations. Participants must supply own brushes and water and may bring a towel or something to sit on while drawing on the street.
Judging: Winning artwork will be determined by local judges, based on creativity and use of color. Judges and/or organizers have the right to disqualify and /or remove any inappropriate art or writing as they may deem necessary. Decisions of the judges and organizers are final.
Organizers: The Brown City Days Soybean Festival Commission is not responsible for accidents, stolen objects or damage to art work. The commission has the right to modify or add to these rules as necessary.
Only 1 photo of each child may be sent in for the contest. To receive photos back, please send along a SASE and write your name and address on the back of the photo. The Brown City Soybean Festival Commission is not responsible for lost or damaged photographs.
Entries must be postmarked before DATE COMING SOON.
Babies must be no older than two years of age (24 months) on June 10th,2017.
Previous contest winners are not eligible.
Winners consent to the use of their name/voice/likeness without compensation for advertising or publicity purpose.
All participants (with an adult escort) will ride on a float during the Brown City Days Festival parade. It’s during this parade when the winners are announced.
Winners are the 1 boy and 1 girl with the most votes. 1 penny = 1 vote. The voting will be at Tri-County Bank through June ____th.
All decisions made by the Festival Commission are final.

CUTEST PET CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
Submissions can be made beginning Sunday, April 9, 2017
Last day to submit is Sunday, May 7, 2017 5 p.m.
Voting begins on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the Exchange State Bank.
Last day for voting will be Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 4 p.m.
The submission that receives the highest votes will be announced Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Noon in the Brown City Park.
Winners do not need to be present at the time of the announcement.
Eligibility: Contest is open to anyone except members and family members of the Brown City Days Festival Commission; and their household members whether family or not, are not eligible to enter the contest. Only one photograph submission per family/household.
Contest Rules: Photographs will only be accepted in a 4 x 6 size. Only one pet can be in a picture and no another animal or any people in the photograph. Pets can be posed, dressed up or in their natural fur. Submissions must be the original work of the entrant or permission of the individual whose work it is must accompany the photograph. In addition to the photograph also include a separate note that should have on it the information listed below. (Please do not write on the back of the photograph) If you are submitting a photograph via email please include the following within the email:
The name of the pet,
The pet’s age
A brief story of how you came to own the pet or a story about how or why the picture was taken
Your name, address, phone number.
Submissions will be considered ineligible if they do not clearly follow the applicable contest rules or if the submitted photograph would be considered a criminal offence or otherwise contrary to any law.
Entrants will need to upload an entry of their choice in order to submit their entry. Acceptable email submissions should be in JPG or JPEG only and emailed to email@example.com . Photographs will not be returned. Winners consent to the use of their name/voice/likeness without compensation for advertising or publicity purpose. Voting: Each submitted photograph will be placed on a canister in the bank. Votes are one penny. You can vote as many times as you want. Votes can be in coin or paper money. The entry to achieve the most votes during above stated period will win. In the event of a draw, whereby more than one entry achieves exactly the same, highest number of votes; the draw will be decided by the Brown City Days Festival Commission.
